Dr. Parasrampuria has over 20 years of clinical drug development expertise in numerous therapeutic areas for both small molecules and biologics, with key contributions to multiple global regulatory submissions and product approvals. She has extensive leadership experience and technical expertise in Clinical Pharmacology & Pharmacometrics; Preclinical Development (bioanalysis, biomarkers, DMPK, safety assessment); and Due Diligence and Scientific Licensing Evaluation. Her career spans both large pharmaceutical companies, such as Johnson & Johnson, GlaxoSmithKline, Daiichi-Sankyo, Genzyme (now Sanofi), and an entrepreneurial biotech, Concert Pharmaceuticals. Most recently, she held the position of Director of Licensing Evaluation at Johnson & Johnson. Dr. Parasrampuria has over 70 publications and one issued patent. She has been actively involved in professional societies and served as the Editorial Board member for the Journal of Clinical Pharmacology from 2002 to 2017, and as Chair and Vice Chair for Pharmacometrics & Biostatistics Sections for the American Society for Clinical Pharmacology & Therapeutics from 2004 to 2007. Dr. Parasrampuria received her B.Pharm. (Hons.) and MPhil from the Birla Institute of Technology & Sciences (BITS), Pilani, India, and her Ph.D. from the University of California in San Francisco (UCSF), under the advisement of Dr. Leslie Z. Benet.
